Your gaming space can reflect your favourite game without crowding the screen with objects. To choose wall art, start with a design you like, then check its position and visibility in your room.
This guide focuses on cut vinyl wall art, with two MaggaM examples: Isaac and Valorant.

Choose a theme that feels like you
A game you have returned to for years is often a better starting point than a passing trend. Look at the exact artwork: a game’s name alone does not tell you whether you will enjoy seeing its design on your wall.
- The Isaac design features artwork inspired by The Binding of Isaac.
- The Valorant design is for people who love that game’s universe.
These two examples are from the Game category consulted for this guide. Check the catalogue and product pages for the current range and ordering details.
Decide where the design will be seen
A wall beside the desk puts the decoration in view when you enter the room. A wall behind you can make it part of your background for calls or videos. These positions serve different purposes.
Before choosing, look at the space from your seat and the doorway. Make sure the screen, shelving or chair back will not hide the design. Leave some clear space around it: an uncluttered area can make the artwork easier to appreciate than a wall full of references.
Test the contrast against the wall
A dark vinyl silhouette generally stands out better against a light, plain background. If your wall is dark, hold an object of a similar colour against it to assess the contrast before buying. Patterned wallpaper can make fine cut-outs less visible.
Check this under your usual lighting. The decoration should look good in everyday use, as well as in photos of your setup.
A simple size check before ordering
- Note the dimensions on the product page.
- Mark that size on paper or cardboard, without handling the vinyl.
- Hold this template in the intended position and view it from where you usually sit.
- Check the space around other objects and the visibility of the whole display.
Plan an installation that suits your space
Do not choose a fixing just because it looks discreet. The wall material and the instructions for the design should guide installation. If the product page does not answer your question, ask MaggaM for advice before planning how to hang it.
Avoid placing the piece near heat or where it could be knocked when moving equipment. For dusting and handling cut-out areas, see the care guide.
A decorative piece with no electronic function
A cut record is a decorative object. It does not add lighting or functionality to your gaming setup and is no longer intended for playback on a turntable. Its appeal lies in the design and where you display it.
